Privacy Policy

The protection of your privacy and your data is very important to us. We handle all data processing operations (e.g., collection, processing, and transmission) in accordance with legal regulations.

We may adjust our privacy policy at any time by publishing it on this website.

Access to our website is provided via transport encryption (SSL / TLS).

The use of our website is generally possible without providing any personal data. However, if you wish to use services via our website, processing of personal data may become necessary. Your data is also collected when you provide it to us. We process personal data for the duration required for the respective purpose or purposes. This data is partially shared with third parties in accordance with this privacy policy.

Processing of Personal Data

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. Furthermore, we process personal data—insofar as and if the GDPR is applicable—according to the following legal bases:

  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR for the processing of personal data with the consent of the data subject.
  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the necessary processing of personal data to fulfill a contract with the data subject as well as to carry out corresponding pre-contractual measures.
  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR for the necessary processing of personal data to fulfill a legal obligation to which we are subject under any applicable EU law or under any applicable law of a country in which the GDPR is fully or partially applicable.
  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR for the necessary processing of personal data to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person.
  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR for the necessary processing of personal data to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of third parties, provided that the fundamental freedoms and rights as well as the interests of the data subject do not prevail. Legitimate interests include, in particular, our business interest in being able to provide our websites, information security, the enforcement of our own legal claims, and compliance with Swiss law.

We process personal data for the duration required for the respective purpose or purposes. In the case of longer-term retention obligations due to legal and other duties to which we are subject, we restrict processing accordingly.

Cookies

The website uses so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Forms

Forms can be filled out on our website. We store the information that visitors to our website enter themselves. We may also store the IP address as well as the time and date to combat misuse, such as identity theft and spam in particular.

Third-Party Services

Our website uses so-called web fonts. Web fonts enable a uniform display of fonts on our website without the corresponding fonts having to be installed on your device. This constitutes our legitimate interest in processing within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

We use web fonts provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Since the web fonts are integrated locally on the web server, no connection to Google servers is established and therefore no data transfer occurs.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be displayed instead. Further information on Google Web Fonts and data processing by Google can be found here and here. If your browser does not support web fonts, or if you do not grant your consent, a standard font from your computer will be used.

The website is hosted on servers in Switzerland. The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: IP address, browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, and time of the server request.

This data cannot be directly assigned to a specific person.

Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

Data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary, required by a legal provision, you have given your consent, or processors commissioned by us have contractually committed to complying with the requirements of the GDPR. Under these conditions, external service providers may be recipients of personal data. This may be necessary in particular for contract processing (including outside the website), specifically for the processing of your order.

Rights of Data Subjects

Visitors to our websites and other persons whose personal data we process can request confirmation free of charge as to whether personal data is being processed by us and, if so, information about our processing of their personal data, have the processing of their personal data restricted, exercise their right to data portability—insofar as and if the GDPR is applicable—have their personal data corrected, deleted (“right to be forgotten”) or blocked, revoke any consent given, and object to the processing of their personal data.

Persons whose personal data we process have a right of appeal to a competent supervisory authority for data protection. The supervisory authority for data protection in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
